You won&#8217;t find help about that in the manual but actually it&#8217;s quite easy.<\/p>\n<p>To use other tunings than the included ones you have to <strong>edit the script<\/strong> of the <strong>Details<\/strong> tab.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Go to the Script Editor and open the Details tab.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.matthiaskronlachner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/03-all-buttons.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-1198\" src=\"https:\/\/www.matthiaskronlachner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/03-all-buttons-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"open details script\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a> Click on Edit to edit the sourcecode.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>If you want to retune every note of the piano differently you have to edit the Stretched Tuning &#8220;preset&#8221;<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.matthiaskronlachner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/kontakt-piano-bp-tuning.txt\">download here<\/a>\u00a0an example for equally tempered Bohlen-Pierce tuning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Values are given in microcent -&gt; 1 cent == 1000 microcent<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For retuning the twelve notes of the scale equally over all octaves you can edit the &#8212; Declare (Micro)-Tunings &#8212; settings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.matthiaskronlachner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/04-edit-script.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-1199\" title=\"stretched tuning\" src=\"https:\/\/www.matthiaskronlachner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/04-edit-script-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"detune every note of the piano in microcent (1cent=1000 microcent)\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>!! The text editor built into Kontakt 4 seems to be a little bit buggy.<br \/>\nIt is best to select the whole script, past it into a text editor, make the changes there and copy-paste back into Kontakt.<\/p>\n<p>!! After changing the script you have to press Apply Button. If it doesn&#8217;t work you probably introduced some error in the script.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To be able to hear the changes you have to choose another tuning and then the tuning you want for resetting it!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.matthiaskronlachner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/05-bp-edited.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-1200\" title=\"replaced stretched tuning with equal temperament Bohlen-Pierce tuning\" src=\"https:\/\/www.matthiaskronlachner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/05-bp-edited-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>Don&#8217;t forget to make a backup of the script somewhere outside of Kontakt.
